Its been way too long.....

Since my last blog entry! Wasn't due to the lack of things to write..... LOTS happen but I just wasn't in the mood to blog. Guess today I am.... So what the hell have I been up to? HMMm.. lets see.

Firstly, my weekend job for the "Smile Campaign" is offically over. There is no more going about pleading with people to smile for the camera and running about under the hot sun. No more going to weird places like Bedok Reservoir, walking about Bukit Timah Hill at 12pm etc to take pics of people. Of course with an end to all that...... NO MORE money going into my bank account! Another form of financial backing for me gone =(

Secondly, attended lots of bday party recently. Had like 2 this month on the same week! It was so tiring but it was good to catch up with my year 3 poly mates on what they have been up to. First bday party I attended was Leon's which was held at"Mind's Cafe". The next day was Zhi Feng's Bday held at his new house situated near LakeSide. Luv the decor at his house. Very pre-tty! Had a sudden urge to revamp my own room too. That is of course.... after I finished tidying up my room.......which I have not really gotten to doing due to my hMmm.. laziness? well on to the next topic!

Project for the semester is coming in~ ArggHhh..... BUT at least there is lesser amount of project going on this time round. Only 3! Our group is aiming for a distinction......we shall achieve it! Right groupie mates if you are reading this? =D

Last but not least, shall put a review of two movies I have watched recently.

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest

I had a truly enjoyable time watching this sequel. Effects was marvelous and it has just the right amount of humor not to make it become a cheesy summer blockblaster. The quest this time is for Jack Sparrow to fulfill his debt to Davy Jones before he is condemn to eternal hellish days working on Jones ship! William and Elizabeth are of course once again involved in Jack's adventure and so the story goes.....

In this movie, Jack Sparrow has once again stole the limelight! He is like the coolest pirate that ever appear in Hollywood. Love his outfit, drunken stagger and the classic flailing hand gestures. When things doesn't go his way, he would utter" bugger". Of course not forgetting his love for rum and is often heard asking " why is the rum gone?". Will and Elizabeth's acting was alright in my opinion....

Ratings for this movie is a 4/5 star. Hope I will get to see more of Jack Sparrow in the 3rd sequel! *drinks up, me hearties. Yo Ho!*

The Lake House

Adopted from a Korean drama, Lake House is a story on an extraordinary love that is happening between a couple with time being the major obstacle - they are living in different time zone. The only thing that connects them is the Lake House and the mailbox via which they communicate. Its through the mailbox that they get to know each other and destiny has a funny way of working..... and they had to get together.... before its too late.

In this movie ,Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock have so much chemistry between them. Of course what make this a successful romantic movie is also its ability to make the audience in the cinema rooting for the couple to be together! Korean drama had a sad ending to it with lots of sad complications in between (as heard from my fren JunZ since she had watched the Korean version).....so I'll let you guys find out what Hollywood did with the ending alright? Currently I am looking for a song that was heard playing in the movie titled "This Never Happened Before" sung by Paul McCartney. Whoever has it tell me can? Thnx!

Rating for this movie..... a 3.5/5. Its a romantic, time-traveling movie which some people might find corny but so what? Its romance! >.< *How do you hold on to someone you've never met?*

Both of the movie I had reviewed actually receive bad ratings from the critics. I would say.... Ignore the critics, who cares what they say anyway? Seriously.... do we even need them? Hahah~

Procrastinating is my middle name......

The cycle of procrastinating for me seems to form a similar pattern each time....

1st, I would start by wanting to achieve some outcome, usually something that I deem important and I would say"I've got to start." THEN...... I delay, briefly thinking "I'll do it tomorrow when I don't have much to do." This usually leads to more delay and I would become self-critical thinking..... "I should have started sooner". Next I would swear never to procrastinate again ........................ and repeat the process almost immediately on other important tasks, as if it were an addiction or compulsion. HAIZ.......

Thus, my room still looks like its been hit by a hurricane. SO.... in order to stop this cycle of procrastinating, I shall start with the unpleasant stuff first and get it over with! Tons of stuff to do tomorrow... Sigh~

1 month holiday.... gone.... JUST like that!

School reopen on Monday. Ahhh.... working is really draining my energy cause I work 7 days a week.

Weekdays, I am a receptionist/showroom assistant at Sennheiser. For weekends, I am an ambassador for the "Smile 2006 Campaign". Earning money sure is hard, crappy and tiring. At least some good came out of working at Sennheiser. I get to buy their products at cheaper price. Hehe~

When I think about it, I have not make full use of the Singapore Sale that is going on. Bought so little stuff!

List of things to buy for my next shopping trip.....

1. Sandles
2. Silver nail polish
3. Specs
4. Skirts
5.Pluck eyebrow(again)

Bro just came back from China..... and he still remember I love "Nightmare Before Christmas" and bought a key chain for me. Hahhaha~ my bro really do surprise me! Thnx bro!!

A whole day of slacking about the house tomorrow..... or maybe not. My room is in a damn mess right now since I never got round to tidying it up. I can't see my table cause its full of stuff, my cupboard is spilling out with clothes .... my floor is fill with bags....... gosh....

Okie.... goal tomorrow! Pack my room!!!!
